Few Questions 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
My client loves the software so far but has run into 2 problems and 1 want.

1. He gets a confirmation email but it does not have the Comments text field we added as a user defined field. How do we add that to the email he receives when someone books an appointment

2. Users can go to my bookings and delete old bookings. For my client, he can't have this happen. He needs a record of all old appointments

3. My client has a few types of memberships he sells to allow photostudio access. 1 membership has 8 hours per month, another allows 15 hours per month, and the final allows 30 hours per month. He would like to add this into the booking process so the user knows how much time they have used and is aware that if they go over their allotted time, they will get charged by the hour. Is this possible? Maybe even just show how much time they have booked that month.

1. He gets a confirmation email but it does not have the Comments text field we added as a user defined field. How do we add that to the email he receives when someone books an appointmentTo add UDFs you use the screen label as the token.
For example, of the screen label is Comments you can use the token [Comments] to have the data entered by the customer placed in the confirmation email.

2. Users can go to my bookings and delete old bookings. For my client, he can't have this happen. He needs a record of all old appointmentsThey think they are deleting but really the booking is still there just with a status of 'deleted'. The booking will no longer show in the user's My Bookings screen but it will still appear in all the admin booking screens.

He would like to add this into the booking process so the user knows how much time they have used and is aware that if they go over their allotted time, they will get charged by the hour. Is this possible? RBPro 1.3 has no ability to do anything like that.
For version 2.0 I have brought over the User Credit feature from ABPro. That _may_ indirectly meet the requirement. You could sell the customer a credit, outside of RBPro, that can be used to make bookings.
Example:
If a booking is $10/hr you could sell the customer
- $80(8 hr) of credit for $70,
- $150(15 hr) for $120
- $300(30 hr) for $225
Or whatever price break you like.
Or, he could just set the appropriate credit into the user's account depending on the level of membership they chose.
Once they have used up their credit further bookings must be paid at booking time.
Adding credit to the user's account is done manually.
The My Bookings screen shows the customer how the credits are being consumed.

Version 2 is in alpha test right now and I have not updated the user's guide to yet. To see the ABPro description of how User Credit works see the ABPro User's Guide chapter 'User Credits'.
ABPro User's Guide can be downloaded from the front page of www.appointmentbookingpro.com
