Resource Booking Pro
This is the commercial version of the popular Resource Booking component for Joomla.
What it is..
Originally designed for Condo or home owner associations that have resources or facilities for residents to share. The concept is simple; pick a resource (person, place or object), date and time required and submit the request. The system logs the request and sends an email to a designated administrator(s). The admin person reviews the request and can either accept or reject the request.
What it is not..
Resource Booking Pro is not an event management system.
It is not a Calendar system. It can insert booking entries into a few 3rd party calendars.
What is the difference between Resource Booking Pro and Appointment Booking Pro..
With RBPro the user-tells-you how long the booking will last. The user sets the start and end times.
With ABPro you-tell-the-user what time blocks are available. They pick one of the available timeslots or appointments.

Version 1.3.4 (Sept /09)
- Service based duration - you can set a booking duration at the service level. If a service duration is specified, the booking end date/time will adjust to force the booking to be the pre-defined duration
- Service based costs - you can set a cost at the service level. If a service cost is specified, it will override the resource level cost. Only applicable if using PayPal
- Google Calendar support
- Support for JCalPro2
- Resource specific UDFs - have any UDF (User Defined Field) show for 'all' resources or just for 'specific' resource(s)

- PayPal - accept payment for appointment bookings via PayPal, Website Standard
- SMS Reminder Messages - send SMS text message reminders to users via Clickatell.com (account required)
- SMS Notifications Messages - send SMS text message notifucations to resources via Clickatell.com (account required)
